Jeffrey will be lovingly remembered by his children, Brian (Nina) Cake, Shawna (Tom) Cake, and Tonya (David) Cake; and his grandchildren, Anna, Grace, Lilly, Evan, and Emma.
He will also be dearly missed by his siblings and their families: Sandra Mills, Becky Cake, Alex (Carol) Cake, Lena (Steve) Scott, Sharon (Will) Denbok, Sherry Kaukonen, and Peter (Debbie) Cake.
Predeceased by his parent Grace (nee Weir) and Harold Cake, partner Elizabeth “Lisa” Barrett, siblings Randy Cake, Daniel Cake and Fran Robbins and in-laws John Robbins, Jackie Cake and Ron Mills.
Jeffrey was a hardworking and talented man who could fix or build just about anything. He had a natural ability to work with his hands and a determination to figure things out, no matter the challenge. He also had a lifelong love of horse racing and, in his younger years, enjoyed the pride and excitement of owning horses.
Jeffrey dedicated many years of his working life to Masco Canada Ltd., where he worked for 36 years.
Above all, Jeffrey cherished his family and the time spent with those he loved. He will be remembered for his abilities, his interests, and the many ways he made himself useful to the people around him.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 2PM on September 20th, 2026 at Brian's Estate - 1097 Crumlin Sideroad, London, ON.
Donations in Jeff's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. The family welcomes donations in lieu of flowers, if desired.
