JENKEN, L. Velma – Peacefully, on June 21, 2016 at LHSC and surrounded by her children, Laura Velma Jenken (nee Edwards) passed into Eternity with Jesus, in her 104th year. A resident of Westminster Twp. (now London) for 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 1987. Mother of C. Thomas (Marilyn), Richard (Ellen), Lynda (William) Cousins. Grandmother of five: Jeffery, Todd, Heather, Dan and David Jenken. Great-grandmother of seventeen. Resting at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London. Visitation on Friday, June 24th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the “Celebration of Velma’s Long Life” will be held on Saturday, June 25th, at 10 a.m. Private family interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester, ON.
