Patrick Robin MacLachlan

MACLACHLAN: Patrick Robin – On June 10, 2014, Just shy of his 17th birthday Patrick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his great-grandmother June Dulong and his grandfathers Don MacLachlan and Dick Dixon. Patrick is survived by his loving parents Dave and Renée (Mark Sferrazza). Patrick will be dearly missed by his older brother MacKenzie and his fiancée Chetasia and his step-brother Alec Sferrazza. Sadly Patrick also leaves behind his grandparents Rosemary Dixon and Richard (Wanda) Jeffery and Ruth MacLachlan and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and his respite workers Andrea & Michelle. Patrick attended St. Francis Catholic Elementary and Regina Mundi Catholic College. Patrick had many interests but a few really stand out. Television, his shows ranged from Coronation Street and Friends to Big Bang Theory and Thomas the Train; and music, he loved listening to the radio 103.1 Fresh FM was where he was always tuned to; and the joy baking brought to him as he helped mix and measure the many batches of cookies, cakes and brownies he helped bake. In his short 17 years Patrick managed to touch the lives of many. To know this just look at his Facebook page. Special thanks to the nurses on B6 200 at LHSC and all the medical teams involved with Patrick’s care. To all of those who went above and beyond – a special thank you. Patrick wanted to make sure that all the staff and students at RMC knew how much he appreciated all the letters, videos, the banner and the visits that put a smile on his face. Finally, a big THANK YOU to Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario for granting Patrick’s wish. Friends and family will be received at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London on Sunday June 15th, 2014 from 1-4pm and 6-9pm. Service at RidgeView Community Church 1470 Glenora Drive at 11am on Monday June 16th, 2014. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario or Mylar balloons would be appreciated as they always made him smile or give a big thumbs up.
