Susan, I can begin to express my sympathies to you and your family.  Pat and yourself spent many good times with my parents (Don and Lillian Goodman)   Memories of my dad calling me and saying "hurry up to Mohawk...Pat has a sure bet"  lol. I will never forget Pat, and the time he would take to speak with me every time that I saw him, or when I picked up the phone when he was giving my dad a call. He had a truly contagious and admirable personality, and he will be remembered by me as a sincere, thoughtful, charming and funny man, who was an incredible friend to my father. I always appreciated my visits with Pat, when I was a Dealer Rep for 
Singer. His knowledge of the sewing industry was of a much deeper depth

Pat will be missed, he talked about his family all the time.  We had interests with horses, golf and sewing.  When visiting his Mum in Brantford, Pat and I would meet at the local Tim's for a chat and delivery of sewing supplies.  He particularly liked my embroidered toilet paper with shamrocks.  His shop was always a happy busy place and he was quite generous with me.  I'll miss our chats and stories of golf.  He was so looking forward to spending more time in his new Florida home and golf course.  We truly hope that Pat did not suffer.

My deepest condolences to Pats family.  I am pats cousin Debbie Kingston.  Pat grew up 2 houses from me in the Ryan family home and I lived in the Ross family home.  Pat and I were close growing up!!  We were always planning adventures because in those day you spend most of your time outside!!  I had not talked to him in years, sorry we had not kept in touch.  I have real special memories of him!! My heart going out to the Ryan family as well.

 .....I can hardly believe it ! 
 I only met Pat last year at the Little Brown Jug....I happened to be wearing a t-shirt from Georgian Downs, which led to him asking me if I was from Ontario ( I am from Woodstock )....after talking a while, I knew I recognized his name from articles in magazines, internet, etc..in conversation I found out he even spoke to my dad years ago and tried to buy Jayport Express from him. We had a great time exchanging stories, handicapping the races and just taking it all in. Pat came back the next day and we enjoyed the Jug together. When we left we said we will have to do this again next year 
( 2015 ) and we both agreed.....I was quite looking forward to it.

I will always remember our families getting together on Boxing Day for our sleepovers and playing in the basement and sitting on "uncle" Pat's real life habs stadium seat. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Pat would appear unexpectedly, such as pulling up along side of me on the 401 or on his bicycle while walking in Springbank Park.  Pat treated all his friends as if we were his best friend.
He will be missed by all of us.

We are so sorry to hear this news. Our condolences to Sue, Josh, Rochelle and the rest of Pat's family. We always enjoyed Pat's company on numerous business trips with him, Sue and the kids. Pat was an inspiration every time we chatted and was full of energy and seemed to really enjoy life. Pat will be sadly missed.

I'm sew missing Pat. His memory will live on in many quilts and his teaching. His smile always left me laughing always wanting to come back for more. I remember he sold me a sewing machine I didn't even want. I remember when he told me he was going to be a Grandfather for the first time he could hardly stand being at the store the day he was born.. He has stitched many memories in my heart.  Heartfelt condolences to his family.

I was so sad to hear that one of my long-time golf cronies and friend passed away last Friday .I knew Pat for over 20 years and spent time in Myrtle Beach, Augusta and a few other haunts with him and enjoyed every minute of it .Over the years I always saw Pat as a loving father ,husband ,and most recently a doting grandfather .I'll miss Pat cutting through my subdivision and stopping in for a visit because he saw the garage door's open at my house , as well as his wit and humor .Pat touched a lot of people and I'm proud to say he was a friend of mine .

We were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of Pat, a wonderful father/husband/grandfather/brother/uncle, and dear friend to many.  There were few who could compare to his humorous nature and upbeat spirit.  We will hold dear our fond memories of the many rounds of golf we were able to enjoy within his company.  We will miss you Pat!!  Sue, Josh, Rochelle, please accept our heartfelt condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  I didn't get to know him well, but every time I did see him he was full of laughter and energy -- like the father/daughter dance at Rochelle's wedding, or visiting our school for Career Day.  I know you will all miss him very much.  Amazing people are never forgotten, and his generous and loving spirit will live on through those of you that loved him so much.
