Being proud of his heritage, he was also active in the German Canadian Club of London, served on the Board of Directors and President (2005-2012). Bob also sang in the choir (bass section) and on the Board of Directors of the Lyra Chor, and so many others. Bob lived life fully and was passionate about travel, delicious food and great wine. One of his greatest achievements was part owner of the fine dining restaurant, Auberge du Careme (1975-1977). He was a very kind, compassionate and generous person. To those who knew him, Bob was a gentleman and a gentle man; truly loved and respected. He is greatly missed.
