As Rosemary's family know Rosemary was my first friend in the baby class at St. Catherine's annex school in Paisley. I was a few days late starting the class and Miss Hamilton asked whom I would like to sit next to. I picked this beautiful, blonde girl, Rosemary McDowall. We lived in Gallowhill Road. She at #94, me at# 60 but had never played together. The rest is history. We were often taken for twins despite our looks. If you saw one you saw the other. We had so much fun and adventures as youngsters. When it came time for High School because of the system we were separated and things began to change. I came to the US in 1956. Whatever happened we remained friends. Saw each other a few times. Mostly telephone friends. Rosemary would always say to me "Margaret, you are the only one who knows who I am" Spoke with her about 2 /3 months before she passed. Her death like her life is life changing. Love you all for taking care of my beautiful, blonde girl. Margaret

Rose was a close friend to my sister, Donna Gregson. Rose and Frank - You were both such wonderful friends to Donna and our family was blessed to be able to get to know you both through your close friendship with Donna. I have known Rose since I was a child when Donna would take me to London to see and visit Rose. Rose was truly a wonderful woman, a pleasure to visit with and I loved her beautiful Scottish accent. My heart is heavy to hear about your loss. She was a kind soul. Donna will be on the other side with open arms for Rose. The friends have much to catch up on. Frank, Rob and Paul our thoughts are with you all and your families. With much love, Ruth (Mike) Huston (Mt. Brydges)
