To know Maxine was to love her. Maxine, Max, mama Max, mom, and nanny were just a few names that she went by. She had an infectious smile and was welcoming to all. Maxine loved to help and care for others, and when it was her time to be cared for it was hard. Maxine was so independent raising two kids mostly alone. She knew how to fix things and would learn how to fix it if she didn’t know. Her medical knowledge was vast given Kevin‘s diabetic history and Kim‘s bought with Cancer . She was good with her computer and iPad and would research all kinds of cures. Whether she worked with you at Patton‘s Place, waited on you at Ani Jewellers or you waited on her at a store, you were immediate friends and in many cases, lifelong friends. Having grown up in Paisley, Maxine still remembered her grade school and high school friends and continued to ask about them as recently as last week. Maxine lived on Viscount Road in London for over 40 years making many lifetime friends whom she cherished.
Maxine was a friend for life, like a mom to many, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a nanny and a mother and best friend to Kim. Maxine will be missed terribly, but never forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025 from 1-2 pm with the Memorial Service to follow at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St, London). Tributes nay be made at www.needhamfuneralservice.com
