Violet Jean Wright Ward

It is with great sadness that we announce that our Mom passed away peacefully at LHSC, Victoria Campus, on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in her ninety-first year. Beloved wife for sixty-seven years of Harold (Chub), deceased May 21, 2010. Devoted and loving mother of Sharon Kormendi and her husband Ernie and Cicily Squire and her husband Michael. She leaves behind five grandchildren whom she adored and was so proud of; Pat(Rick) Laughton, Michelle (Tim) Hart, Shannon (Steve) Kuzma, Scott (Shelley) Kuzma, Darren (Jen) Kuzma. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren whom she delighted in and who will always remember their Great-Grandma; Kyle, Carley & Joshua Laughton, Brendan & Connor Hart, Brady & Lauryn Kuzma, Emily & Ashlynn Kuzma. She is survived by her sister Marian Arniel. She was predeceased by her sister Cicily Eggett and her brother Arthur Wright. Friends and family will be received at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St.,London) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where the service will be conducted on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:30pm. Interment Dorchester-Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
