Arturo Rodriguez

Arturo Rodriguez was born on January 6, 1933 in Arizona, to Francis & Juana Rodriguez, with his family by his side, Art, was peacefully called to the Lord on April 29, 2016 at his residence in Wilmington. Arturo was a proud Navy veteran who served his country proudly in Korea. He was the Honor Guard Captain for VFW Post 2967 & was a dedicated Post member. Art was also a familiar face in the Wilmington Pony Baseball Programs & Wilmington Pop Warner Football. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife: Elizabeth (Betty) & his children: Arturo Rodriguez, Jr.; Elena (Armando) Reyes; & Edward (Lourdes "Lulu") Rodriguez. He leaves his legacy on this earth through his 9 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Art, thank you for your service to our country, you will always be remembered for everything you have done for all of our veterans & especially your final salute with your harmonica playing.
