I watched a fun video today with a son and mother dancing at a wedding. At first I was laughing because they choreographed a bunch of random songs that were quirky. At the end all I thought about is how I won't get to do that with you and broke down crying. I still miss you everyday and wish you were still here with me. Love you mom.

I was completely stunned and saddened to recently learn in November of Cathy's passing in June from Sarah Singrin. I lightly knew Cathy at Lakewood High School because we both revolved in the same large social circle. In 2011, Cathy contacted me via the Lakewood Alumni website and we immediately formed a friendship. We spoke many times over the phone over the past two years and she mentioned that she was going to try to come out to Arizona with Sarah Singrin to see me. In 2012, the Sunflower wildfire was started south of Payson from a tracer bullet. I will always remember the phone message Cathy left for me on my Forest Service work cell. Her voice was wavering and you could hear her crying when she said that the news in Southern California was reporting that all of Payson was burning to the ground from the Sunflower Fire. Even though I hadn't seen Cathy since our senior year in high school in 1971, the concern in her voice was very real and it touched me. Actually, I have saved her phone message on my work cell because of that. Cathy, we got to know each other over the phone since 2011. I wish I had known you better in high school. I will miss our frequent phone conversations. Rest in peace Cathy.

Cathy was one of my clients and also good friend.  While trying to contact her to remind her to do her tax return . . . disconnected number, a return to sender letter and a wild guess and hope that she was okay, I found this site.  I'll miss Cathy.  Thank you for allowing me to see her life in these beautiful photos.  I knew Cathy only during these last 8 years of her life and when we  laughed and shared many long conversations.  I'm atleast happy for her to be rid of the worries and troubling episodes of the last years of her life.  She loved her family, particularly her sons and always wanted the best for them.  I will miss her and happy she is at rest now with no more worries and sorrow.

In Loving Memory of my very best friend Cathy Day-Lamb I'm saddened I didn't find out in time to attend her service yesterday. So SAD she was my BEST friend since Kindergarten and if we lost touch for some years, we always caught back up with each other. Went thru so many ups & downs of her life with her. Always thought of her and OH the stories and trouble we got into as kids! We would always have things to laugh about! Just this last year we visited at my moms house and still reminisced from grade school, thru many of our adult ventures. Well, with tears in my eyes, I will miss her, but know she has no more worries and no pain. She'll still be in my prayers, and my friend forever, be at Peace Cathy....

I have many great high school memories of Cathy.  I was lucky to reconnect with her by phone last year and relive many of the fun things we did.  Our date to Hollywood to see the filming of Flip Wilson was the first thing she remembered, boy did we think we were big time! God's comfort and peace to Cathy and her family. Aunt Cathy loved all her family with all her heart. She was thoughtful and would do anything she could for us. My wedding was so much more special because of her help and her wanting to make sure I felt my dad's presence through the love and generosity she gave me during the planning and the day. I will never forget how much she just loved. Whenever I said "I love you" before she would go or get off the fun she would always respond with "I love you more" and I truly felt how much she loved me. Well my friend, it is with tears in my eyes that I am writing this letter.  You were a very good friend to me and my family.  We had a lot of fun when our children were young.
