---Beloved wife of the late Samuel E. Wood; loving mother and mother-in-law of Samuel (Charlene) Wood; dear sister of Earl (the late Charlotte) Smyth; dear sister-in-law of George (the late Janet); dear grandmother of Jennifer (Donald), Rebecca, Matthew, and Nicholas, great-grandmother of Chase and Landen, aunt, and friend.

---Eleanor lived a long and fruitful life. Born in Detroit and moved to the Los Angeles area where she lived for the past 75 years. Attended both USC and UCLA. Avid bridge player, tennis player and baseball fan.

--Services: Vigil service and rosary Friday, January 17 at 6:30pm at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 11482 Los Alamitos Blvd., Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 18 at 10:30am at St. Hedwig. Interment Tuesday, January 21 at 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities.
