

Lloyd R. Hansen was born in Green Bay, WI on September 14, 1923. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Margaret and his sister, Winnie Olsen. He passed away on November 17, 2010. He served in the Air Force during World War II and he attended Ripon College in Wisconsin.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Mae; three children, Keith Hansen (Carol), Karl Hansen (Linda), and Karen Vogt (Pete); 4 grandchildren, Andy Hansen, Karla (Bren) Doyle, Greg (Sarah) Vogt and Jessica Vogt; and 5 great grandchildren, Jackson Hansen, Wyatt Hansen, Charlotte Hansen, Eva Doyle, and Chloe Doyle.
Lloyd moved his family to Long Beach in 1952 where he worked for the Long Beach Harbor Department for 32 years. He was a lifetime member of the Long Beach Elks Lodge and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was an active and loving father, putting family first.
An avid Green Bay Packer fan, Lloyd enjoyed the annual football seasons, watching games with his family. Through the years, Lloyd was fortunate enough to be able to travel to various stadiums across the country to see his hometown team. Of course his favorite venue was Lambeau Field. Lloyd also enjoyed playing golf and being with friends.
In recent years, Lloyd and Anna Mae enjoyed living in Bixby Knolls Towers. Lloyd will be missed by his family and friends, but leaves them with many fine memories.
