Born November 25, 1921, in Providence, R.I., she was a resident of Long Beach, CA, since 1943.
She is survived by; 5 children: Peggy Farber, Patti Boston, Joseph O’Rourke, Mary Nadeau and Nancy O’Rourke-Garcia, 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
She was received into Heaven by her husband Col. Joseph L.P. O’Rourke and daughter Kathleen Aguilar.
The Rosary will be held tonight at 730 p.m. at the Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell’s chapel in Long Beach, CA. The Funeral Mass is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, followed by Interment at All Soul’s Catholic Cemetery.
