Well Rick nope still can't write anything just thank God your with mom and now Bert has passed and he and you are together give my boy Brian a kiss and hug from me too

Rick was an inspiration to all.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I will miss Rick. He has been a friend of the family for as long as I can remember. I have always thought of him as a part of the family.

Rick was such an enthusiastic man. He was fun and funny.I will miss his contagious laugh. I will miss the ongoing conversation:
"Are you staying out of trouble Rick?"
" Well, I try to stay out of trouble, but it keeps finding me." Then that laugh of his.No matter how bad Rick may have felt, he always had kind words for others. He did not complain, no matter how much pain he felt.

Rick gave his all to his country and never complained about his pain and discomfort. He was always upbeat and had an uncanny ability to read your mind and 'look' you in the eye when talking to you even though he couldn't see. He loved Amateur Radio and his computer and amazed me at how quick he learned the panel and controls of any new radio equipment. Rick was my friend for over 20 years. I will miss him.
