

Kashiben passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at the age of 98, at CHSLD Henriette-Céré in Saint-Hubert, Quebec. Born in Mogar, Gujarat, India, she was the eldest living member of her village—a beloved matriarch whose love, wisdom, and presence connected generations. She was a living bridge to nearly a century of faith, family, and tradition.
Throughout a life that spanned eras of profound change, Kashiben remained a steadfast source of warmth, resilience, and quiet strength. She devoted herself fully to her family, finding her greatest joy and pride in their love. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, the wisdom she carried from a lifetime of experience, and her unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
She leaves behind three children Ruxmani (Chhaganlal), Ramanbhai (Deviben), late Dhirajlal (Urmilaben) , Bhartiben (Jayantibhai), late Maheshbhai (Niruben) , eleven grandchildren Mita (Ashwani),Hina (Nilesh), Trushar (Sejal), Neelam (Pardeep) ,Tarak (Neha) , Niral (Chetna) , Dharti (Mike), Anil , Roma (Tom) , Krupali and Krishna (Sam), and fifteen great-grandchildren Sunita (Manu) , Suneil , Shaan , Shailen , Jatin , Milan , Rajat , Neha , Hayaan , Maya , Jai , Juniper , Jaxton , Alaya and Anayra as well as many other friends and family members.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at CHSLD Henriette-Céré for their exceptional care and compassion.
