Beatrice Fitzgerald Dudley

Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Greggton First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Greggton First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Moore and Rev. Kevin Bright officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Lakeview Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dudley was born in Big Sandy, Texas to Joseph L. & Fannie Sherrod Fitzgerald on February 24, 1927. She graduated from Big Sandy High School. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Tyler until they had children and she became a full time mom. She was a longtime member of Greggton First Baptist Church and truly loved the Lord. She was a avid gardener and loved growing beautiful flowers as was evident if you saw her yard. She was a beloved and devoted wife and mother. She truly was an angel on earth but only God could see her wings. She was very giving and the ultimate peacemaker. She will be dearly missed by all.

Mrs. Dudley is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Hugh Dudley of Longview; brother: Freddie Fitzgerald of Gilmer; sons and daughters-in-law: Doug Sr. & Vicky Dudley of Longview, and Rick & Bobbie Dudley of Longview; daughters and son-in-law: Patricia and Ken Latham of Union Grove and Gloria Dixon of Longview; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greggton First Baptist Church, Beacon Hospice, Alzheimers Association or the charity of your choice.
