Bob served his country well in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He loved country music and played the guitar well enough to play for a time with Jim Reeves' band.
He was preceded in death by wife Cathy, wife Nora, wife Zella, and sister, Janie. He is survived by two brothers, Everette and his wife Syble of White Oak, Texas and Glenn and wife Jo of Jasper, Texas. He leaves a number of nieces and nephews. Bob also leaves a very dear friend Debbie who did so very much for him in his illnesses, and the family greatly appreciates it.
