Charles was born in Latch, Texas to Troy Reavis and Opal Williams Reavis. He proudly served his country in the Army retiring after 23 years. Charles enjoyed gardening and raising his cows and chickens. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 54 years, Doris “Maxine” Reavis; his brother, Wayne Reavis; and a sister, Joyce Brantley.
He is survived by his children, Gary Reavis (Donna), Bruce Reavis (Ruth), and Lori “Missy” Mooty; grandchildren, Jason and Chad Reavis, Sam and Kenneth Reavis, and Cory Wishert and Brian Mooty; great grandchildren, Alydia Ditmore and Gavin Reavis; and a sister, Wanette Maxwell.
