CW Adcock, 87, of Longview, TX passed away on May 4, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. CW was born October 6, 1930 in Huffines, TX to Henry Albert Adcock and Maggie Lee Sullivan Adcock. He married the love of his life, Pearl Booth, on Sept. 22, 1949 in Houston. CW was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He would often poke fun of himself when asked what it was that CW stood for, he would find something appropriate for the conversation going on at the time, or simply reply country and western. CW loved spending time with his girls. He even convinced Pearlie that they needed a lake house so that he could spend more time with them, which he did, teaching them how to fish, playing his guitar and singing songs with the girls, and one of life's most valuable lessons, spending quality time with the family. CW did work a lot, his job as a sales rep with Timco Sweepers meant a lot of time on the road for CW. He was proud of what he did, and took his job seriously. He was very proud of the fact that he was the first sales rep to convince the State of Texas that they needed to purchase TIMCO sweepers, and landed a contract for nine of them. CW was able to retire from TIMCO in 1996 after over 20 years of service to them, but also was called on from time to time after retiring for consulting work.
