Dina was baptized at Greggton First Baptist Church and later joined the Methodist Faith where she was certified as a Lay Minister. she loved to play the clarinet and was a Majorette at Foster Junior High, she later graduated Longview High School where she was a Viewette. Dina attended Stephen F. Austin where she earned her teaching certificate. She took early retirement from Southwestern Bell where she had started as a telephone operator and then became one of the first female lineman for AT&T. Dina loved to cook, fish and crochet.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Dessie Scoggins. Dina is survived by her husband, Bruce; daughter, Keri Foreman and husband Mark; son, Jack Tanner and wife Amy; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Denise Staley and husband Alex and Debbie Smith.
Dina's ashes will be buried at a private service.
