Ethel passed away December 28, 2011, in Longview, Texas. She was born March 31, 1920, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Horace and Louise Ford.
She married the love of her life, Herbert Samuelson on July 22, 1943. Her life was spent as a homemaker who loved to travel, play bridge, ballroom dance and eat seafood. Her most memorable trip was her honeymoon in Niagra Falls.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Louise Ford; and by her husband of many years, Herbert Samuelson.
She is survived by her many loving family members: son, Carl Samuelson and wife, Sherry, of Longview, Texas; daughter, Joanne Kile and husband, Joe, of Trevose, Pennsylvania; daughter, Elaine Howard of Oak Park, California; grandchildren, April Somershoe, Eric Samuelson, Karen Barnett and Tanya McGinley; and great-grandchildren, Madison Somershoe, Zachary Somershoe, Tyler Barnett and Karli Barnett.
