Eugene Earl Leffler, 88, of Longview, Texas passed away on December 18, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Leffler was born on February 19, 1925 in Connersville, Indiana to Walter and Glendola Best Leffler. He graduated from high school and went into the military serving his country in the Air Force for over twenty years during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. By his side during all of his service, was his wife, Agatha Madge McRoberts, whom he married on Februray 19, 1944. He is a member of the Winterfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Agatha Madge Leffler of Longview; daughter: Connie Jean Esposito and her husband Louis; son: David Earl Leffler; granddaughter: Bonni Jean Sprague; grandsons: Rick Esposito and Duncan Ian Leffler; great grandsons: Ricky Esposito, Louis Esposito, and E.J. Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with a time of visitation with the family starting at 10:00.
