Helen Hays

Nicki was was raised in Iola, Kansas and graduated from Iola High School. She married Chuck Hays in 1974 and together the couple had 4 children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, church, walks in the woods, her dogs, playing cards, dancing with her husband, visiting with family, and watching wildlife. Nicki's friends and family will always remember her as a saint for putting up with Chuck, and a kind-hearted soul who lover her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her: parents, Ray and Doris Nichols; granddaughter, Fallon Knox.

Nicki is survived by her: husband, Chuck Hays; brother, Ed Nichols; son, Ron Hays; daughter, Jennifer and husband Leonard Anderson; son, Jeffrey Pearman; daughter, Jennifer and husband Randy Brown; grandchildren, Nicole, ShaLynn, Nick, Kyle and wife Caitlyn, Aimee, Kristen, and Cody and wife Chelsea; nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 4715 Tenneryville Rd, Longview, TX 75604, on February 20, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 3:00 pm. A committal service is scheduled at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604, on February 20, 2026, starting at 4:00 pm.
