Janie was one of a kind! One of the best friends, you could have.
She was family to me!
Always there when you needed a shoulder to lean on, or cry on.
I love you Janie, and I know you had a huge mansion, waiting on you, in heaven. I will miss you!

Mom worked 3 jobs at a time from 1968-1985. She was a single mom for most of it and was determined to raise her boys. I’m sure I never appreciated her efforts at the level I should have, but today I know she was doing her best to provide. She had lots of fun and trouble along the way, she loved life and loved to mingle. I’ll cherish the lessons the rest of my life, and I hope she is having a great reunion in Heaven with Dad, Mamaw, Papaw, Aunt Jug, Sheena and her best buddy Evelyn!
