Joann Mackey, 88, of Longview, went home to be with her Heavenly Father March 12, 2021. Born January 16, 1933 to Frank and Alma Green, she grew up in Big Sandy where she met the love of her life, Lee Mackey. They were married 69 ½ years. In 1954, they moved to Longview and became members of Mobberly Ave. Church of Christ, and later Pine Tree Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother to three daughters and one foster son. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; and twin brothers, Perry Donald and Nelson Ronald Green. She is survived by her husband, Lee Mackey; brother, Coy (Patsy) Green, of Longview; daughters, Anna (Travis) Page, Terry (Duane) Cawthon, both of Longview, and Janet (Richard) Ross of Hallsville; foster son, Randy Bench of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Stevan (Angela) Estes, Brandon (Meagan) Estes, Brandi (Thomas) Little, and Brian Craig , all of Longview, Jennifer (Jimmy) Williams of Hallsville, and Julie (Seth) Butler of White Oak; great grandchildren, Ashlea, Courtney, Austin, Collin, Natalie, Jackson, Camden, Cooper, and Hannah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021 at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Serving as Pallbearers will be Stevan Estes, Brandon Estes, Collin Estes, Austin Prazak, Seth Butler, Jimmy Williams, Wyatt Hines, and Cedrick Polk.
