Her's was such a beautiful, kind spirit.  The words "Gentle,willing servant" come to mind when I think of her.

A wonderful lady with a beautiful spirit!!  I will always remember her!

Marie became an important part of my life in my mid-teens when she passed through Tucson from time to time en route to her work in western Mexico. When I was 16 years old and moving into my first place away from home -- a tiny little house in the poorest neighborhood -- she and Barbara Jacobs were "resting" for a few days in Tucson before returning to Mexico.  They showed up on moving day, armed with mops and buckets and brooms and cleaned my miserable place from top to bottom!  In the years to come, Marie and I worked close to one another in various places in Texas and New Mexico.  She was always a true, loving sister to me, showing a spirit of willing service and a steady example of humility and care. I thank God for her influence through the years!

I remember Miss Marie's kindness and smiling spirit. I recall her as hardworking and very dedicated to her beliefs. She lived a long life in servce. I will miss her and I know that my mother, Mary Alice Weaver, will miss her greatly.

Always will remember Marie's kindness in taking the gospel forth she was like a mother to me. Patti Price Ingram,tx
