Mrs. Waits was born May 21, 1944 in Gladewater, Texas to Alvin and Catherine Henderson Parker and
passed away on August 27, 2017 in Longview, Texas
Sister Waits loved the Lord and was faithful to her church, Church of God of Prophecy, where she served as song leader.
She is survived by her husband, Bluford Waits, sons, Greg Waits and wife Mary, and Jeff Waits and wife Erin, brother, Dale Parker and wife LeAnn,
granddaughters, Misty Rivers and husband Eric, Rori Biggos, and Skyler Thompson, grandsons, Kade Evans and Bubba Wyatt, and great granddaughter, Emmalyn Rivers.
A visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Gladewater Memorial Gardens, in Gladewater, Texas
