Sherry Lynne Sansone

Sherry was born into a big family of 2 sisters & 8 brothers with her being the youngest.

Sherry married Jerry Sansone on October 19, 1973 and they were married for 43 years. They had 2 children Jere Lyn & Joseph.

Sherry was a RN for 30 years. She loved her job & co workers. She not only helped the sick and injured that come into the ER and ICU she helped other nurses on a daily basis. Countless number of nurses have said how Sherry “the sheriff & house mom” took them under her wing and was a mother figure, mentor, teacher, leader and friend and they always knew she had their back. Sherry had an infectious smile and laugh and a personality like none other. She was definitely the life of the party.

Sherry loved spending time with her children and especially her granddaughter Rylan.

Sherry went to be with her Lord & Savior on January 7, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed but her legacy will live on in those she loved.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Sansone, sisters Dorothy Strong Hill, and Shirley Strong Abernathy, brothers; John (Tobe) Strong, Jim Strong, Bruce Strong, and Douglas (Coon) Strong

She is survived by her daughter Jere Lyn Sansone, son Joseph Sansone, granddaughter Rylan Stevens, and brothers Johnny (JC) Strong, Richard Strong, Mackie Strong, and Glen Strong
