Steve Brantley, 48, of Longview, passed away September 10, 2016. He was born October 7, 1967 in Pasadena, Texas to Kennon Brantley and Helen Ruth Craft Brantley. Steve was involved year round in sports while attending Pine Tree High School. He played football, basketball and baseball. He was a member of Pine Tree High School class of 1986.
Steve is survived by his father- Kennon Brantley of Longview; son-Brandon Brantley of Gilmer; daughter-Whitney Brantley of Longview; five grandchildren: Aiden, Ayddison, Brooks, Kinsley, and Hadley; brother-Randy Brantley of Longview; and sister-Sheri Pope and her husband Dean of Longview. He is preceded in death by his mom-Helen Brantley.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home. A service to remember his life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
