Terry was raised in Longview, Texas and attended Pine Tree High School in 1979. He married Onna Hester in 1995, and the couple had 3 children. He was always hard at work. He worked at Petrolite Service for many years, then dedicated a decade to Flint Energy Services, and was most recently doing contract work.
In his spare time, Terry enjoyed time with his beloved family. He loved to explore mountains and scenic views, as well as attending classic car shows with his parents.
His family and friends will always remember him as a caring and loving man with a contagious smile, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was kind, hardworking, and those who knew him loved him very much.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Onna Hester, his father Jody Hester, and his brother Tommy Hester.
He is survived by his: daughters, Jodi Hicks and Kimberly Khan; mother Marie Hester; sister Tina Strickland and brother-in-law Allen Strickland; grandchildren, Brooklyn Khan and Paxton Khan; nephew Wayne Hester and niece Emmie Conley.
