

Preceded in death by his mother, Alpha Anglin; father, WIlliam Truett Pate; step-fathers, Roy Chaney and Win Anglin; in-laws, Marvin and Hazel Bamburg; and grandson, Justin Lowrey.
He is survived by his lovingly devoted wife of 52 years, Mary Bamburg Pate; daughters of his heart, Jessica Lowrey and Leslie Ash; step-daughter, Amy Lowrey; sisters, Ginny Todd, husband Billy, and Susie Hodges, husband Donnie; sisters-in-law, Jean Bamburg and Judy Flint; granddaughter, Jordan Kelley; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Easton, Axel, and Kinsley.
Tony was a graduate of Ringgold High School class of 1965, and Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in 1967. He was a proud Army veteran from 1968 to 1970, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was an avid outdoorsman, sharing time fishing and camping with Jessica and hunting with his friends. He was a proud member of the American Legion, NRA, and the choir at First United Methodist Church in Hallsville. He retired from Industrial Electronic Supply in 2012 after devoting over 15 years.
Tony was a loving husband/brother/son, devoted and supportive father (both to human and canine), caring friend, proud veteran and Christian, professional recliner sitter and beer drinker, classic car admirer, and witty joke teller. He was a friend to all, never meeting a dog or baby that didn't love him instantly. His memory will be cherished deeply by all who knew him.
