Lindsay Faye Matzie was born on October 12, 1989 in Santa Barbara, CA and passed away on December 16, 2015 in Paso Robles, CA. She is preceded in death by her brother Zachariah Kinard and grandfather Paul Pradzinski. Survived by her mother Brenda Dubey, twin sister Lacey, and younger sister Jessica Kinard.
Lindsay grew up in Lompoc, Ca. She went to La Honda Elementary and Lompoc Middle School. Her freshman year in high school she moved to Morro Bay and attended Morro Bay High. She recently graduated from Columbia College with her bachelors in Psychology. She was pursuing a career in social work, while working at the Med Stop in San Luis Obispo.
Lindsay had a smile to light up the room and a contagious laugh. She was known for her small voice, which gave her character, and the genuine friendship she offered. She was everyone’s best friend. Lindsay loved music, especially EDM, and loved going to concerts. She once said that music made her life complete. On her last day, she had attended a Yellow Claw concert in Santa Cruz. They were her favorite DJs at that time. The time she spent on this earth, she made sure she lived as much as she could and she would want all her friends and family to do the same.
