Andrew Michael “Mike” Connor, 66, of Louisville passed away September 29, 2014. Mike was born in Louisville Kentucky to the late Theodore and Anna Lee Connor. Mike liked art, photography and loved teaching.
A graduate of Flaget High School in 1965, Mike went on to earn his B.A. in art history in 1969 and his masters in pharmacology in 1975, then his Phd. in radiation biology from the University of Iowa in 1979. Mike was a lecturer and assistant professor at University of Louisville from 1981 to 2003, and a professor of science at St. Catharine College from 2000 to 2012, and had worked at Louisville General Hospital as a clinical lab technician from 1968 to 1970.
Mike is survived by his special friends Dennis and Deanna Walter, many friends in the health care and academic professions and especially his friends from St. Catharine College in Springfield Kentucky.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be 10am Friday October 3, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Kentucky. Visiting will be from 4 to 8pm Thursday October 2 at the funeral home.
