Andrew Henry Schmoyer

Andrew “Andy” Henry Schmoyer, arrived at his Heavenly Home on May 23, 2022. His life was a life of service, from his local community and church to his country. Andy was a lifetime member of Okolona Baptist Church where he served as deacon, trustee, and choir member. He also earned Life rank in Boy Scouts, served in the US Army in the Vietnam War; and actively volunteered with JCPS. He was an electrician by trade, working with International Harvester, River City Controls, and MSD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Thelma Schmoyer.

Left to cherish his memory is his childhood sweetheart and wife of 50 years, Suzie; daughters, Michelle Chesser (Donnie) and Sharon Kelley (Terry); three granddaughters, Emily, Aurora, Micaiah; three grandsons, Philip, Brad, Tony; sister, Jean Sheegog (Elzie); loving nieces and their families, and his Okolona Baptist Church Family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Okolona Baptist Church at 2pm. The family will welcome guests at the church from 11am – 2 pm.
