She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Landon Garrett and a son, Michael Garrett.
She is survived by her children, Dennis and Roger Garrett and Joyce Mavas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
