August John "Benny" Pfister 100, of Louisville, passed away February 11, 2015. Benny was a retired employee of Seagrams Distillery, a member of Our Lady of the Pillar Church and a WWII Army Veteren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lauretta Pfister.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Michaelle Steier (Larry), Sherryl Schmied; grandsons, John (JoDee), and
Michael (Julie); three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. There will also be a Funeral Mass Service held 11:30 am Saturday at Our Lady of the Pillar Church, 4049 South Fifth Street Lou, KY, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 2-8pm.
The family would like to request that memorial donations be directed to the donors favorite charity.
