Betty A. Burress, 81, of Louisville passed away March 21, 2013 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1931 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Hazel Mattingly Elder. She was a classy and elegant lady and spent the majority of her career as a hair stylist.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Burress; a brother and a sister.
She is survived by her loving children, Charles Burress (Brenda), Debbie Zoll (Pat) and Joe Burress (Andi); five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Sunday at the funeral home.
