Betty Carol Whitehouse, 75, passed away at home surrounded by family Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Born December 23, 1936 in Smiths Grove, KY to the late Ulysses Sherman and Mary Maud Gibson Whitehouse, she was a member of the 1955 graduating class of Dupont Manual High School, a member of The Homemakers Club, and a past employee of Time Finance. Most importantly, she was known for being a wonderful and devoted mother and wife.
Her husband of 52 years, Hugh “Bill” Moseley, precedes her in death; along with her three sisters, Katie Bowsher, Sylvia Davis and Rose Mitchell.
Left to carry on Betty’s memory are her three children, Karen, Steve (Amy) and Dawn Moseley. As well as her two grandchildren, Carol and Will Moseley.
A service celebrating the life of Betty will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstwon Road. Visitation will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Private burial is at Resthaven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
