Betty was born on July 5, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Holmes and Lula Mae Weems Holmes.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lula Mae; and her daughter, Vanessa Brown.
Left to cherish Betty's memory are her children, Jacqueline Brown, Virginia Brown, Letitia Brown, Lorraine Brown Edwards (Dwayne Lamont Edwards, Sr.), Patrick Wesley Brown (Billie Jean Brown); a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 12 noon - 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213.
Betty Ann will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
