Betty L. Thompson "Memaw", 77, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at home with her family by her side. She was a homemaker and the former Betty Puckett and a native of Munfordville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Thompson, Sr; parents, James "Lubie" and Annie Puckett; a sister, Brentina Wilson and several half brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Donna S. Thompson; William "Bill" A. Thompson Jr. (Carla), of Allen, TX; Terri L. Hartman (David) of Murfreesboro, TN; and Tina M. Blumer (Dale); grandchildren, Shawn and Jason (Jessica) Wigginton, Lana (Michael) and Dana Lea, Kayla and Jonathan Blumer; great-grandsons, Dylan and Maysen Wigginton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. till noon at the funeral home.
