She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Blakely Hall, brother, Arthur Hall and a sister Ina Maloney.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Kenneth "Butch" Whitaker; sons, Kenneth "Lee" Whitaker (Denise) and Stephen Whitaker (Jennifer); daughter, Angela Whitaker; her father, Louis Hall; brothers, Phillip and Ed Hall; sisters, Joyce Johnson, Lillian Hooper, Sylvia Bowman and Mary Singleton. She also leaves six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
