He was preceded in death by his siblings, Victor V. Garrett Jr., Doris Mahoney and Theresa Vaught.
Bob is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Melinda “Micki” whom met when they were 13 years old; son, Kevin (Kathy); grandchildren, Hannah, Haley and Joshua, step-grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Katie and step-great grandchild, Abagail.
Bob was a boiler operator and retired from National Tobacco.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 6:30pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville.
Visitors are welcome Wednesday, from 3 pm until the time of service, at the funeral home.
