Carl T. “Tom” Guenther, DMD, 85, of Louisville passed on March 12, 2011. He was a retired Dentist, having practiced in Louisville for many years. Tom was an Air Force Veteran of WWII, an avid outdoorsman, expert marksman and he loved motorcycles.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Phyllis Ransdell Guenther; brother, Robert Byron Guenther (Barbara); three children, Ann Guenther Perkins (David), Carolyn Guenther Austin (John) and Gregg Guenther (Cathy); two step-children, James E. “Randy” Ransdell, DMD (Beth) and Lynda Ransdell; five grand-children, Courtney and Connor Perkins, Matthew Guenther, Jim and Jackson Ransdell and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Road, 7410 Westport Road. A service to celebrate the life of Tom will be conducted at 6:00 p.m Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Arch L. Heady and Son.
