She was born on October 14, 1938 in Louisville, KY, to the late Elmo and Anna Mae Frank Stickler. She was a retired book keeper with the Jefferson County Public School System. She was member of Larchmont Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, David Allen Blair.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert A. Blair; a daughter, Valorie (Larry) Geralds; a son, Donnie (Sharon) Blair; four grandchildren, Derrick and Travis Geralds and Lindsey and Trevor Blair; a sister, Elizabeth Fox; and step-grandchildren, Scotty and Chris Geralds.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
