

Cecil Wetzel Stacy, Jr., 72, of Louisville, entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2025 with his family by his side. He worked for Krauth Electric Company for over 30 years, cheered on the Louisville Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers all his life. Sundays was spent watching Nascar races, he was Dale Earnhart's #1 fan. He never met a cold beer he didn’t like. He was Catholic by faith and before his illness, loved playing cards and socializing with friends. He was a strong-willed man and was eternally devoted to the love of his life, Catherine Rose.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cecil Stacy, III (Christine), Gregory Stacy (Kimberly), Tabithia Thomas (Adam), and Heather Stacy (Andrew); sisters Sharon (John) Hardesty, Bonnie (Joe) Albanese; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Catherine, parents; Delores and Cecil Stacy Sr., sister; Patricia Ann Jacobs and his brother, John Stacy.
A visitation for Cecil will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. A service to honor the life of Cecil will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Cecil will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, alongside his beloved wife, Catherine Rose.
