Charlene Ruth Ferguson, 94 of Louisville, passed away May 20, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Ruth Barnes. Up until they closed, Charlene was a devoted member of Midlane Park Baptist Church. She later became a member of Southeast Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Marvin Ferguson Sr; her children: Sandy Donovan, Marlene Ferguson, and Phillip Ferguson.
She is survived by her children: Connie Blocker, Marvin Ferguson, and Ruth Ferguson; her daughter-in-law: Debbie Ferguson; her siblings: Clifton Barnes and Carolyn Miller; an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are asked to be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor New York, NY 10001.
Funeral services will be 9 AM Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the funeral home.
