Pat earned a Master of Science from Eastern Kentucky University and retired from the Ford Motor Company. He was a proud member of the US Army, having served our country with distinction in Vietnam as a member of the Military Police, earning several medals and commendations.
Pat is survived by his two children; Troy Knowles and Christy Boden (Bob),
and his three grandchildren; Emily, Maggie and Carter Boden.
He is also survived by his siblings; Ken Johnson (Mary Lou), Peggy Pierce (Earl),
Dan Knowles (Linda), Cecelia Siebert (Jim) and Mark Knowles (Judy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Patrick Knowles Sr. and Lila McDonald.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26 at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd, 40222. Inurnment will be at Kentucky Central Veterans Cemetery in Ratcliff, KY on January 2 at 11 a.m.
