Charles Oppedahl, 82, was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He served in the United States Army in the 57th motorcade in the Korean Conflict Era. Chuck lost his yearlong battle with COPD at Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Hospice.
Preceding Chuck in death is his beloved mother, Jessie Oppedahl, his son, Barry “Bear” Oppedahl and grandchildren; Micah Keith and Andrew Oppedahl.
Left to cherish Chuck’s memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Jackie Oppedahl. His children; Mark Keith (Cheri), Mike Keith (Vonne), Monte Keith (Meredith), Michael Oppedahl (Maria), Myste Barnett (Bryan), Patrick John Oppedahl (Dawn), Kristie Crosier (Pat), his grandchildren; Matt Keith, Blake Keith, Michael Keith Jr., Mandy Helton, Jeanie Mullins, Monica Keith, Katherine Oppedahl, Jacob Oppedahl, Sean O’Bryan, Myriah Barnett, Alex Oppedahl, Ella Deweese, Bailey Crosier, Wyatt Crosier and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Chuck will be Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 7:00pm to celebrate Chuck’s life at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY.
