Charlotte M Monroe

Charlotte Marie Monroe, 75, of Louisville passed away on October 27, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1947 to the late James and Virginia Monroe. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers; Charles Monroe, Doug Monroe, Paul (Fifi) Monroe, Irvin Monroe, Scott Monroe, sisters; Sandra Cornell, Virginia (Leonard) Wessel, Patty Monroe, Margaret Vaile, Shirley Monroe, and Barbara (Jimmy) Allman. As well as a host nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was devout Catholic woman who was a lover of all animals. Her best friend Happy will be very happy to see her again. Her career as a secretary began at International Harvester and she retired from the IRS. Charlotte loved spending time with her family dancing almost as much as she loved gardening and gambling. She will be greatly missed by her friends “The In Crowd”.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday November 2, 2022 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1406 E Washington St. Louisville, KY 40206. Visitation will be Tuesday November 1, 2022 from 3pm-7pm at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206. Burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Charlotte’s name to the Angel Tree Program at St. Joseph Catholic Church
