Cynthia was born on October 7, 1959 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to Charles Fields, Jr. and Dolores Vivian Woodrig. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, step-father Karl Woodrig and sister, Glenda Elliott.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Shore; daughters, Angela Brocato, Brandie Nichols, Alicia (Russell) Hager, and Sabrina Shore; son, John (Christy) Shore; and sister, Carolyn (David) Nash. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with countless friends and loved ones.
Cynthia was a character larger than life with a heart big enough to care about everyone she met. There was never a red lipstick that she didn’t enjoy, or an occasion she didn’t love dressing up for - and the holidays were a special treat where she got to dress her house up as well. She enjoyed her life and loved spending time with her family, especially all of her ‘grandbabies.’ Cynthia worked as a Registered Nurse (RN), and that’s where her caring nature and big heart shined with every patient she had. This helped her establish deep, personal relationships with the nurses and other hospital workers who cared for her over the past several years, all of whom she shared her unique, crazy love with.
The family appreciates the various medical teams that helped Cynthia over the last few years and the love and care they showed not only her but all of us.
